#plantyinfo Pinching Sunsation F1 Sunflower. An easy way to encourage more blooms!

2021-06-28

Why pinch?

  • Better primary branching

  • More flowers

  • Longer-lasting plant

  • Compact plant

When to pinch:

Pinch as soon as the young plant has 4 pairs of leaves.

How to pinch:

Pinch the top of the main stem just above the fourth leaf pair. This encourages the plant to develop 3-4 new stems from the leaf nodes below the pinch.
